Job Advertisement: Technical Specialist in Platform and Integration

Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and the entire society. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. These are the tax funds we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Within the product area of Platform and Integration, we are responsible for the entire lifecycle management of our products within Integration, Platform, Container, Database, and IAM. This includes development, implementation, operations, and management to ensure stable and efficient platform services.

Cloud Platforms, Container Technology, Cloud Native, and Open Source

As a technician within the product area of Platform and Integration, you will play a vital role in the development and management of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's platform services. You will work in a private cloud environment where you manage the entire lifecycle of the platform's various components, from development and implementation to operations and optimization.

In this role, you will explore and implement new technologies, including AI and open-source solutions, and take responsibility for cloud platforms built on container technology. You will be involved in onboarding new Cloud Native products, further development of self-service interfaces, and improvement and optimization of platform infrastructure services.

The work also involves cross-functional collaboration with other technical teams, where you will have the opportunity to share knowledge, contribute to automation processes, and further develop the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's systems.

We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, innovation, and efficiency and has a strong technical foundation in container technology, infrastructure services, and programming.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is essential that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • has experience with container technology such as Kubernetes or Docker
  • has experience working in Linux
  • acts on their initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • has a systematic and meticulous working method
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you

  • have technical skills in data description formats, such as Yaml, Json, and Xml
  • have technical skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • have technical skills in Data Security
  • have technical skills in Python, Bash, or Golang
  • have knowledge of Git and GitOps
  • have knowledge of Cloud Native Products
  • have knowledge of Helm
  • have knowledge of AI
  • have knowledge of Automation Development.

A position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
